A former chair of the Copyright Agency Limited and former deputy chair of the State Library of Queensland, she co-founded Second Chance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Marjorie Morton <\/strong><br>Queensland businesswoman Majorie Morton trained originally as a radiation therapist, before founding a food brokerage business which has morphed into a national company. Becoming aware of the shortage of crisis beds for homeless women two decades ago, she went on to co-found Second Chance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>THE COMMITTEE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"166\" height=\"218\" src=\"https:\/\/secondchance.org.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Kathleen_Noonan.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-379\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Kathleen Noonan &#8211; President<\/strong><br>Kathleen Noonan is a Brisbane-based journalist and columnist, who has reported in South Africa, the UK and Australia over three decades. Her weekly column and reporting appeared in newspapers throughout Australia for 16 years. She has a long-standing interest in what makes society fair. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"166\" height=\"218\" src=\"https:\/\/secondchance.org.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Marjorie_Morton.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-382\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Majorie Morton &#8211; Treasurer<\/strong><br>Majorie Morton has been the treasurer since Second Chance became incorporated body.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"166\" height=\"218\" src=\"https:\/\/secondchance.org.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Zara_Sexton.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-384\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Zara Sexton &#8211; Vice President<\/strong><br>Zara Sexton has been involved with Second Chance since its inception. With a teaching career spanning different educational systems over 20 years, she believes education is a critical tool in creating awareness of social justice issues and the needs of the marginalised. As Head of Department of English and Humanities over the past 8 years, she&#8217;s passionate about boosting the literacy skills of students. Amanda is a member of the senior leadership team in the Edmund Rice Flexi-schools network, working with young people who have experienced trauma. She is currently studying a Masters of Educational Leadership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"166\" height=\"218\" src=\"https:\/\/secondchance.org.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Alison-Kubler.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-388\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Alison Kubler<\/strong><br>Alison Kubler is a writer and Editor of VAULT, a journal of art and culture.
